Moffett Truck-mounted Forklifts have been clients of clifford Marketing for many years. Helping to convert this year’s St. Patrick’s Parade theme
was
certainly different to the normal
projects promoting and presenting an internationally recognised piece of engineering. The brief entailed showing the history of Moffett from 1945 – 2015, combined with the parade theme of Myths, Magic and Legends.
For the sides of the main truck, we created a graphic showing the first Forklift manufactured by Moffett in 1945, the first TMF in 1986, the first Electric TMF in 2012 and a current model for 2015. The graphic was mounted on the side of the Moffett Demo truck together with an M5 machine. 5 TMFs followed the truck, one of which carried a large model of a birthday cake for the 70th anniversary. The other 4 TMF’s carried Graphic cubes depicting images for the theme and local legends. St. Patrick’s Day balloons, bunting and decoration adorned the trucks and drivers wore festive costumes. Family, friends and children all dressed in costume also took part with one lucky toddler having their stroller turned into a mini forklift.
Not only was it a design triumph, but all involved from
the plant on Ardee Road were delighted to be announced parade winners 2015. |
